A suspected serial killer in the USA has been charged with two more murders.

Billy Chemirmir is already accused of murdering 14 elderly women in North Texas, smothering them and stealing jewellery.

Now he has been charged with a further two murders, with both victims living in a residential home and dying in summer of 2016. Chemirmir is said to have posed as a maintenance man to get into their apartments and then smothered them with pillows.

Chemirmir was first identified as a suspect after a woman survived a murder attempt. It was only during the investigation of that case that police started to suspect the other murders, which had previously thought to be death by natural causes.
